Our gift (Robert Pattinson News) to Rob on his birthday is nothing fancy. Just a promise to help raise funds throughout the year, for the organization he supports. We sent Rob a birthday card with the link to this site, so he can check on its progress. Help us support this very deserving cause. The Best Day Of His Life:

Rob told Details Magazine it happened, as he prepared to film Water For Elephants:

"So this big female started sniffing my foot - big female elephant, that is. She sniffed it so hard it came up off the pavement like her trunk was a vacuum cleaner. Then she took my entire body in her mouth."

"I was holding on to her head, and as I slowly let go she tightened her grip really carefully until I'm just upside down in her mouth and she's going through my pockets with her trunk, looking for peppermints. It was the best day of my life."

The Fan That Asked Rob The Question

While we waited until Rob's birthday to start this fund, we got the idea at the 'Remember Me' premiere in New York. Rob was signing autographs for fans, when one fan asked him what charity he supported. After pausing for a second, he answered "WWF".. and we knew then what the perfect gift would be. As it turns out we had met Amanda (aspiring journalist), while we were in New York last year. She is a warm and caring young woman, who instead of asking for a photo with Rob or his autograph, decided to find out what he cared most about. You can find a picture of her in the photo album. I remember when I was 26 - I was just starting my career as a music teacher, got my first teaching job at 26.......and look at all YOU have done, wow. Hope the screams start to die down a bit and you can have some peace - but just know it all means how much we love you.

When I was 16 (35 yrs ago) I fell in love with an exchange Student from Germany. We were both completely in love.T hat summer, July 10th to be exact, he had to go home. He was only 17, and he HAD to go back...I thought I was going die. We spent from 7pm the night before, to 7am, crying our hearts out...holding each other and crying... and saying I love you in both of our languages over and over. Then gone. I spent about 10 years looking for him in the eyes of every foreigner man I happened to meet...he had moved on and wasn't mine anymore. I allowed him to haunt my first marriage too. Well, it's been 35 years and we still keep in touch. He's a Judge in Hamburg with a wife and 2 kids. I am in a good marriage, with 3 kids. Twilight...........

I met my husband when I was just 19 and fell head over heals for him. fast forward 47 years. I have never had anyone affect me with their acting ability like Robert Pattinson. He has a chemistry that is so powerful. ESPECIALLY if he uses an American accent. Their is no actor today that can come near. It's something your born with it cannot be learned.
