Regulating groups in the Galapagos
New regulations go into effect February 1 in the Galapagos, to further protect the enchanted islands' fragile ecosystems and also increase the number of islands tourists are allowed to visit. The new rules are expected to "reduce the impact on certain important sites and should, overall, improve visitor experiences," one expert says in an article on the WWF Travel Blog.
